One Week In New Shop

Well, it has been one week in the new shop and I have met soooooo many new quilters. I am having so much fun. Getting new products in all the time. Currently decorating for the Fall Festival this coming weekend. Will report about that later. Also preparing for the Witch's Night Out. I have the refreshments ordered and now to figure what sale I will be having during those three hours.

Moving Day

Well, this day has finally arrived. It is moving day. That's right, I am moving into the new shop starting today. It is so exciting, but it will be a tough job. I am hoping to get it all done today and tomorrow. I have friends, family and customers coming to help. The move is only a couple of doors down the street so we will be carrying everything. No sense in putting it in a truck and then driving 40 feet to unload.

Wacky Wednesday

I cannot believe that this is the last day of August already. Where has this year gone? It won't be long and we will be getting out the snowblowers and warm boots. Many are thinking of Christmas gifts and if you want a quilt top quilted for a gift, you might want to get it to me now so I can guarantee it to be done in time.

This is Labor Day weekend coming up and I WILL be open on Saturday. There will be another shop in this building that is going to stay open too. Soooooo, come on down :)

Terrific Tuesday

Good Morning. I am wishing everyone a wonder and terrific Tuesday. Most everyone else starts their week on Monday, but mine starts on Tuesday. I don't have anything special planned for today, but am expecting a delivery of more fabric any time now. Yippee!!! Just like my birthday or Christmas. Will let you know if it comes in.

Still praying for all the victims of Irene on the east coast. Hopefully they will get their electricity turned back on soon and be able to start putting their lives back together.

Labor Day Weekend

Well everyone in my shop building is closing for Labor Day, so I will too. I don't really want to close, but with my location it will look like I am closed anyway. I sure will be glad when I move and can do my own thing.

New Fabric Added

I got some wonderful fabric in yesterday from MODA. It is from the Together line. One is a dotted tan, which could be used in many different patterns as a blender. The second is a chocolate and very dark olive called Circle Dots. Then finally the third is called Dotty Leaves which is in the tan family and cute as a bug.

Back at work

Back at work and feeling refreshed. Having some trouble with new program so please bare with me. I have sent out an invitation to my customer list to join my blog. Hope to see you hear soon.
