Hello, my name is Pat and I am living a dream. I grew up with a love of quilts, even though I never owned a quilt. I took Home Economics in high school and at the end of the course I was told that I would "never" be able to do anything that involved sewing. Well part of that is true. I still can't make anything that doesn't lay flat. A wonderful neighbor of mine in Texas gave me the following words of wisdom. "You don't need to know how to sew to make quilts". WOW that was the start of a new adventure in my life. She gave me the basic instructions on quilting and it blossomed from there. I have been quilting since 1995. I eat, sleep and even breath quilting. It is a passion within my blood. So where do I go from here? Off to Wisconsin in 2003. I am a retired Registered Nurse and I now go to play every day. I opened Bee Happy Quilts in Mount Horeb, WI in April 2011. It is a cute little shop that is growing quite rapidly. I have been doing longarm quilting for 8 years. On a personal note, Jerry and I have three children, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Yes they all have quilt
